This question demonstrates the ability of <pl-image-capture> to let students submit captured images from their webcam or external device, such as a phone or tablet. The question also demonstrates what <pl-image-capture> looks like when mobile capture is disabled.

The first part of the question requests the derivative f'(x) of a function f(x), along with work shown step-by-step and submitted through pl-image-capture. The second part of the question requests a sketch of the region bounded by two curves.

Element pl-image-capture: Capture image from webcam or mobile device

This question demonstrates the image capture element, which enables students to submit images to questions using their local camera or an external device (e.g. a phone or tablet).

If you plan to use AI grading, do not wrap pl-image-capture within another PrairieLearn element, such as pl-card.

Consider the function $f(x) = arcsin(2x) + cos(4x^3-5x)+e^{x^3}$. Find $f'(x)$ and show your work.
